Our new Sensei

We are now back into karate and this is our new Sensei. Sensei David Jones is originally from the UK and moved to Calgary in the 80's. He has made us feel extremely welcome, as has everyone at our new club. If any of our friends from SKE fancy making a trip to Calgary, come visit us and we will introduce you to Sensei David.

Hey Sensei Steve, I'm not sure if you remember me but it's Win San. I used to go Larkswood Karate Club, and you taught me back then. I was on the SKE site and saw your blogs and just wanted to say congratulations with everything and hope everything goes great =]

Hi Win San, many thanks for your comment. I hope you are still going to karate and enjoying it as much as I am. Many thanks for the title of Sensei but I am a long way off earning that. All the best to you!

Lol, I can't help it, guess it's a habit since I've known you as a Sensei :P

I do indeed still go Karate and sadly missed the competition held last week, but on a brighter note, I passed the last grading and I'm currently a green belt =)

Out of curiosity, are your planning on encouraging your children to learn Karate? :P?

I know what you mean:-)
I only started karate because my kids did. They have now stopped and Becky and I continued. Well done with the grading - give Sensei Senel a hug or us!

Oh I see! Glad to hear you carry on the passion even if your kids dropped out :P

Senel.... Is that your way of spelling Sensei Chanelle -.^ Or am I not on the same channel here...

Either way, hugs all around, huh? ;)

Correct spelling is Senel, pronounced Chanelle :-)
